The Pepperdine Bible Lectures this year are May 5th-8th. If you are planning to attend the lectures, registration forms are located in the foyer.  The deadline for housing reservations is January 21st.

A Men's Breakfast has been scheduled for February 7th at 8:00 a.m.  It will be held at Jenny Lynn's restaurant located on Plano just off Hwy 190.  A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board if you plan to attend.

You are invited Saturday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate and congratulate Darrel Townsend on his recent completion and graduation from the California Highway Patrol Academy. We will also have the opportunity to view a video of his graduation ceremony which will be shown at 2:15.  Darrel, your church family is very proud of your accomplishment.  We wish you the very best and may God bless you in your new career.

February 8th will be Scout Sunday. We encourage all those who are in Boy Scouting  and Girl Scouting as well as those who have been a part of scouting in the past to wear your scout attire.

TEENS  7th-12th GRADE

Tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. teens from Exeter, Visalia, Hanford, and Bakersfield are invited to a day of spiritual "Fusion" and fun at the new McDermont Field House in Lindsay.  Along with a devotional the teens will have an opportunity to enjoy everything the new facility has to offer. The cost is $20.00 per person for full access of the facility including games. Families are also invited to this event. Remember you will need to bring extra money for food.  For more information see Bob Davis or Dena Tallerico.

Youth Rally

The Youth Rally is scheduled for February 20th-22nd. We hope all of our teens will be a part of the rally this year. Cost for our youth is $15.00 per person.

We are excited this year to have "Won by One" from Pepperdine and Fullerton's theatrical group "From the Heart."  Our guest speaker this year will be Toby Hendrix.

Thank you

Carol Bailey and family wish to thank the Ladies' Bible Class and several members for the cards and love that was extended to her with the recent loss of her sister.  She also would like to thank Marshall and Chris for attending Mary's service.

BABY GIFT

We are collecting towards a congregational baby gift for Derek and Nikki Townsend.  If you would like to contribute towards the gift, please see Donna Maravilla or Ann Miller.  We didn't get it accomplished before he got here.  Today will be the last opportunity to contribute.

Congratulations

To the Townsend families with the arrival of their baby boy.  Deegan Lanox was born on January the 13th.  He weighed in at 7 lbs. and 6ozs. Little Deegan was transferred to Valley Children's Hospital due to breathing problems.  He is slowing improving.
