entitled "The Beginning of the Church."
The
study will continue in to the latter part of February.
The
53rd Youth Rally is next weekend. Thank you to
those who volunteered to keep teens. We have 76 teens registered and with your
willingness to open your home I was able to house everyone. Registration
begins at 6:00 pm. on Friday, February
5th. We invite you to come by during the rally to witness God's work in
motion. It's always an exciting weekend.
We
are still in need of cookies and canned soda for the rally.
Cookies can be store bought as it does not matter to the teens. Please label
"youth rally" and drop off in the kitchen or fellowship room.
The
Men's Breakfast is scheduled for February 13th, 8:00 a.m.
at Denny's on Hwy 190. A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.
February
14th will be our Annual Scout Sunday. We ask that
all those in scouting please wear your uniform. Also later that day at 5:00
p.m. is our Monthly Ministry Meeting. Russell Williams is the Elder
Chair for the month of February.

Grief Recovery class will resume for a 13 week course
starting February 22nd, at 6:30 p.m. The class is open to everyone. Please
encourage family and friends whom you feel would benefit from such a class to
attend.

Regarding Girl Scout Troop #2068
We have a new Girl Scout
Troop which meets at the building each Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. If you are a
girl from K through 4th and are interested in becoming a scout, drop by or call
Terri Jetton.
It's Girl Scout cookie time
again and they are eager to take your orders this morning. Our Girl Scouts are
Hannah, Marissa, Taylor, Atlantis, and Sahara. You may place your order today
with money due when cookies arrive in March.
The girls would like to
mention a program this year called "Operation Gratitude." You may purchase
cookies from the girls which are sent directly to our U.S. Troops in action. If
anyone would like to contribute to this program, money is needed when placing
the order. What a wonderful way to say "Thank you" to our servicemen.
Boy Scout Troop #152 meets here each Monday at
6:30 p.m. They encourage all boys interested to come by and see what scouting
is all about. You may also contact Daryl Kulbeth.
Thank you
Polly
Green would like to thank everyone for the calls, cards and prayers concerning
her recent illness. She is feeling much better however she is still
experiencing good and bad days.
Greetings from Oklahoma
We
received a letter from Sister Ethel (Davidson) McCallie last week. It is
posted on the bulletin board for you to read.
