NEWS
This Friday, March 27th, at
7:00 p.m. Porterville will host the monthly "Area
Wide Singing." Everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy congregational singing
and fellowship.
March 29th will be our 5th Sunday
congregational potluck after morning services. Everyone is to bring their
favorite dish. Zone C is in charge.
Candy filled eggs are needed for the Annual
Easter Party scheduled for April 4th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Please give them to
Rick or Sally Wall.
If you are planning to attend
the festivities a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board. Remember to
bring your favorite dish for the potluck lunch. We will need pop-ups for
additional shade. If you have one and can set it up it would be appreciated.
We have scheduled our yearly Congregational Corporate
Meeting for April 5th immediately after morning services. Please plan to stay
for the brief meeting.
April 12th at 7:15 a.m. there will be a Sunrise
Easter Service on the basketball court. Coffee and donuts will be served
afterwards. Come and enjoy God's creation and fellowship with your brothers
and sisters.
We are stepping back in time this year for Vacation Bible School. The children will be visiting Rome along with "Paul and the Underground Church." Everyone is anticipating the excitement of the children and
adults as they experience four days of walking in the market place and visiting
with Paul and the early Christians. So if we have peeked your curiosity and
you want to be a part of this wonderful journey into the past, please contact
Rick or Sally Wall. Help is needed in several different areas.
Doesn't the Media Rack in the foyer look great? It
is so nice to have everything in order and accessible. We want to thank the
anonymous person who donated the funds to purchase it. It is very much
appreciated.
