NEWS

Today at 5:00 p.m. will be our Monthly Ministry Meeting.  We will meet in the Fellowship room.  If you need a report form they are located in the foyer.

The Men's Breakfast is scheduled for March 7th at Jenny Lynn's off Hwy 190 and Plano.

Next Sunday, March 8th the Family Ministry will have a potluck /meeting to discuss the upcoming Children's/ Congregational Easter Party as well as Vacation Bible School which will take place in June.  All those who would like to help are invited.

Concerning the Vegetable Garden:  Several have shown an interest in planting a garden.  We need water hoses, garden tools, seeds and plants or you may make a cash donation to help purchase these items.  Please give donations to Glenn Neal.

The Tulare / Kings County Right to Life will have their annual "Walk for Life" on March 21st.  The Tallerico Family will be participating this year.  If you would like to help them with a pledge it would be greatly appreciated.  You may see Dena for more information.

Date Change on John's Incredible Pizza:  The Tweens and their families are invited to a fun evening  at John's Incredible Pizza in Bakersfield March 13th at 6:00 p.m.  Everyone is to meet in Bakersfield.  If you can not get there by 6:00 it is all right. The group has reserved the "Retreat Room."  If you have any questions please see Dena Tallerico.

 

The Head Family has decided to sell Kay's home.  They are donating the household items to the "Relay for Life."  Dena has volunteered to clean and sort items for a yard sale and is in need of help.  If you can help Dena with this huge undertaking it would be greatly appreciated.

Candy filled eggs are needed for the Annual Easter Party scheduled for April 4th.  Please give them to Rick or Sally Wall

More than 4,000 people will assemble in Malibu to study "The Lord of Creation (The Preeminence of Christ in Colossians)." Monte Cox of Searcy, Arkansas, will present the keynote lecture on Tuesday evening, May 5, with the message "Christ, the Mystery of God."
