Cookies-Canned Soda-Candy Needed: It is that time of year again. Youth Rally will here in next weekend. We are in need of cookies, canned soda, and wrapped candy for the Bible Bowl. You may bring items anytime.  Label it "Youth Rally" and put in the refrigerator in the Fellowship Room.

Youth Rally registration begins between 6:00- 6:30 p.m. on Friday.  A schedule is posted on the bulletin board with the weekend's activities. Everyone is welcomed is "peek in" and see what is taking place.  You are also encouraged to be here on Saturday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy "From the Heart" and "Won by One."  We are looking forward to a fun filled and spiritual weekend.

Attention Host Families:  In the foyer on a table are envelopes with the names of the teens you will house this weekend.  If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call.  Thank you for opening your home to our youth.

"OLD TIME VICTORY GARDEN" There is an interest from members to use a portion of the vacant lot on the south side of the building to plant a vegetable garden.  If you are interested in being involved with this endeavor, a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.

A letter and update has been posted on the bulletin board from Robert Porcha, the young man we are helping with support through missionary school.  If you have a chance, send a card or letter of encouragement to Robert, it sounds like he is a little homesick.

The Tulare / Kings County Right to Life will have their annual "Walk for Life" on March 21st. The Tallerico Family will be participating this year. If you would like to help them with a pledge it would be greatly appreciated.  You may see Dena for more information.

From Pepperdine:

Annual Bible Lectures theme

"The Lord of Creation"

A Joyous Migration: Thousands of Christians from across the country and around the world will make the journey to Malibu, California at the beginning of May. This sparks thoughts of the great festivals of God's people throughout past centuries, coming together to sing praises, learn of God, and to refresh their souls. The Pepperdine Bible Lectures on May 5th-8th will again bring God's people together. Don't miss the beginning on Tuesday afternoon! Call (310)506-4270 or visit

Thank you

John and I would like to thank the congregation, Elders, Ministers, Bob and Daryl for the surprise recognition and award we received last Sunday. With your help we have tried through the years to live by the Scout Motto "to do my best to God and my country" as Christians, parents, leaders, teachers, in whatever we had the privilege of doing. We also want to thank you for the love and support you have continued to show us and for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful blessing we call "Our Church Family."

In Christian love,

John and Karen Garrett
