This morning there will be a presentation from the Children's Caring and Sharing  to Josh Tackett.  Funds are to help Josh and the mission work being done in India.  We wish Josh and his father Doug, a safe and productive trip.

The Pepperdine Bible Lectures this year are May 5th-8th. If you are planning to attend the lectures, registration forms are located in the foyer.

A Men's Breakfast has been scheduled for February 7th at 8:00 a.m. It will be held at Jenny Lynn's restaurant located on Plano just off Hwy 190.  A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board if you plan to attend.

February 8th will be Scout Sunday.  We encourage all those who are in Boy Scouting  and Girl Scouting as well as those who have been a part of any kind of scouting to wear your scout attire.

TEENS  7th-12th GRADE: The Youth Rally is scheduled for February 20th-22nd. We hope all of our teens will be a part of the rally this year.  Cost for our youth is $15.00 per person.  We are excited this year to have "Won by One" from

Pepperdine and Fullerton's theatrical group "From the Heart."  Our guest speaker will be Toby Hendrix.  Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the groups Saturday evening.

Next Sunday, February 1st, is our scheduled Monthly Ministry Meeting at 5:00 p.m. All those involved in our Ministry Program are encouraged to attend.

Thanks so much for all you have done.

Dear Church Family,

I want to thank everyone for the Christmas, Get Well and Birthday Cards.  It was hard to stay ill with all the love that was sent my way.  I also appreciate all the visits during my recent hospital stay.

In Christian Love,

Evelyn Hulstine

We received word this week from the Hancocks. They send their love our way and wanted to let us know they are doing okay. Unfortunately they have been dealing with the cold weather that hit the Midwest and are stranded in Indiana. Remember to keep them in your daily prayers as they travel.

Note from the Elders

The Elders and Ministers of this congregation meet regularly on Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. Any member of the congregation wishing to meet with the leadership is welcome to schedule a meeting time with the Elders or chair for that month. The Elders rotate chairing these meetings as well as the monthly ministry meeting, and serve as a point of contact for the congregation in the event of a special need. The elder serving as chair during the month of

February is Russell Williams.
