Ladies it is time to sign up to be a Zone Coordinator for the year 2009.  There is a bright yellow sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer.

The Cookbooks are in!  Proceeds are going towards the Exeter Manor House.  You may purchase one for $15.00 from Karen Garrett on Sundays or Marsha Searle on Wednesday nights.  They would make a great Christmas gift.

The Senior Saints Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, November 15th at 5:00 P.M.  A sign up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board if you would like to attend.

In the upcoming November election, we will be voting on a critical proposition to amend our California State constitution.  Proposition 8 states "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."  On Sunday morning, October 26th, Chris will present a sermon dealing with this issue, and that Sunday evening we will view a DVD entitled "Proposition 8 and the Case for Traditional Marriage."  Please make a special effort to attend these services on the 26th as we discuss what is at stake for the future of the family in our state and country.

Tweens Learning to Be a Servant

The item needed for the month of October is Instant Potatoes

The Tweens are asking for donations of miscellaneous food items to finish filling the Thanksgiving food baskets.  Also if you are shopping at Save Mart and receive a free turkey with your purchase, they ask for you to consider donating the turkey to them. If you would like to make a cash donation towards the purchase of turkeys, it would be very much appreciated.  See Sally Wall or Rhonda Davis.

The Monthly Area Wide Singing will be hosted by the Lindsay Church of Christ on October 24th, at 7:00 p. m. For more information a flyer is posted on the bulletin board.

West Visalia Church of Christ Ladies Day is scheduled for November 1st starting at 9 a. m. If you would like to attend, a flyer is posted on the bulletin board with more information.

Thank you so much for all you did

Just a note to thank our church friends for all the calls and cards during my recent illness.  They meant so very much to us.  Please continue to remember us in your prayers.
